The Wolf River Schutzhund Club (WRSC) is a dedicated group of individuals that train for the dog sport of Schutzhund (IGP). Started by Chrystal Freeman in 2015, the WRSC is proud to be a member club of the United Schutzhund Club of America (USCA).  Club members who, through their love of dogs, strive to better all breeds, especially those best suited for work. This is accomplished through the training and trialing of our dogs, as well as the daily activities and interaction with them. We feel that our methods create a firm and lasting bond with our canine companions, a bond that we do not take lightly.  Though our main focus is the sport of Schutzhund, training improves the everyday life of our dogs.

The Wolf River Schutzhund Club is a group of people with a common goal: To title our dogs in the sport of Schutzhund at the highest level possible.  Members are NOT required to participate in all three phases of Schutzhund; Tracking, Obedience and Protection - training in one of the phases but not the others is up to you and your dog. Dogs will not be trained in protection only as this phase requires significant obedience.  We welcome any dog with working ability, our members train German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers and even a Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
